Apple Hospitality REIT Snaps Up DFW Marriott
This acquisition brings the trust's portfolio to 236 hotels, with more than 30,000 guestrooms across 33 states.

Dallas—Apple Hospitality REIT Inc. announced it has closed the acquisition of Courtyard Fort Worth Historic Stockyards, located at 2537 N. Main St. in Fort Worth, Texas, for $18 million. The transaction brings the REIT’s portfolio to 236 hotels, with more than 30,000 guestrooms across 33 states.
The 124-key property offers 1,296 square feet of meeting space, complimentary Wi-Fi, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, a business center, an onsite restaurant and a Starbucks.
The property is situated in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District, with access to the downtown business district, Fort Worth Convention Center, Will Rogers Memorial Center and a variety of museums, restaurants, entertainment venues and other nearby amenities.
