Atlanta MOB Changes Hands

A partnership between G.H. Anderson & Co. and The Gipson Co. sold a 48,588-square-foot medical office building located in Atlanta’s Buckhead Business District.

A joint venture between G.H. Anderson & Co. LLC and The Gipson Co. has sold Brookhaven Medical Center, a 48,588-square-foot medical office building located at the intersection of Peachtree Road NE and Colonial Drive NE in Brookhaven, Ga., in Atlanta’s Buckhead Business District.

Marcus & Millichap Senior Vice President of Investments Sonny Molloy, Senior Director Bob Johnson and Senior Associate Jared Kaye represented the seller, while also procuring the buyer, Caddis Partners LLC.

“The center is fully occupied by Walgreens and Piedmont Healthcare,” said Korey Prefontaine, senior director in Marcus & Millichap’s Atlanta office, in a prepared statement. “Piedmont Healthcare, which has a proven track record in this market, recently relocated to the site. Both tenants benefit from excellent demographics, accessibility and exposure along Peachtree Road.”

Kroger, Stein Mart, Wells Fargo, Starbucks, Pep Boys, Kauffman Tire and Town Brookhaven, a 600,000-square-foot mixed-use development, are all located nearby. Moreover, the Lenox Square, Phipps Plaza Oglethorpe University are roughly two miles away.

In August 2017, GH Anderson & Co. sold North Lake Square, a 140,000-square-foot retail center in Gainesville, Ga.
