Avison Young Acquires CNJ, Opens Second NJ Office
The company has grown from 11 to 79 offices over the past eight years.

Rutherford, N.J.—Avison Young acquired Cresa NJ-North/Central LLC, which will be immediately rebranded to the Avison Young name, opening a second office in New Jersey. This will be the company’s 54th office in the United States, expanding its coverage in New Jersey with seven members joining from CNJ.
Tom Giannone and Ron Ganter, formerly managing principals of CNJ, will now be principals at Avison Young. They will be working with Jeffrey Heller, principal & managing director of the firm’s New Jersey region. Other team members joining from CNJ include Edward English, senior vice president; Elisabete Correia, operations manager; Steve Bleiweiss, senior vice president; Scott Riehl, vice president; and Brian Featherstone, advisor.
Avison Young’s second New Jersey location will be in the Metropark area. The team will focus on the North and Central regions. Over the past eight years, the company has grown from 11 to 79 offices and from 300 to more than 2,400 employees in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Europe.
