Avison Young Adds New Principal
Tom Viscount brings more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining the company, he worked at Butters Realty & Management as senior vice president.
Avison Young has added Tom Viscount as principal for the company’s Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office. He will focus on industrial landlord and tenant representation and leasing throughout South Florida.
Viscount brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, representing tenants and institutional landlords in the sales and leasing of commercial real estate properties. Prior to joining Avison Young, he served as senior vice president of leasing and sales at Butters Realty & Management for nearly 12 years.
During his career, Viscount represented various clients from Fortune 100 companies to smaller, independently-owned businesses and institutional investors including Principal Life Insurance Co., Bristol Group, Prologis, Industrial Income Trust and Cabot Properties. In 2017, he secured more than 628,000 square feet of lease transactions.
