Baltimore’s Stadium Square Lands 35 KSF Co-Working Space
Amsterdam-based company Spaces will join Janney Montgomery Scott, a national financial services company, which recently moved into the project’s first office building.

Stadium Square, Caves Valley Partners’ South Baltimore development, will soon be home to a co-working facility. Dutch company Spaces has signed for 35,000 square feet at 145 W. Ostend St., bringing the building’s occupancy level above the 50 percent mark. Cushman & Wakefield is in charge of the project’s office leasing efforts.
The facility will span across three of the six stories of the Class A 145 W. Ostend St., joining Janney Montgomery Scott, a national financial services company. The full-service firm recently moved in, occupying 6,000 square feet and becoming the building’s first tenant. An additional 180,000-square-foot office building is slated for delivery in the project’s final phase.
The Amsterdam-based company has co-working spaces across two dozen countries, including the U.S., where Spaces operates more than 30 locations. Currently, the closest Spaces facilities to Baltimore include three in the D.C. area and three in New York City.
The $275 million Stadium Square redevelopment project is a multi-phase effort which, at full buildout, is scheduled to deliver some 375,000 square feet of office space, 50,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, 600 upscale apartments and 2,000 parking spots. Architecture firm Design Collective and several civil engineers, including RK&K, KCI and Kimley-Horn, are also part of the project. H&R Retail is in charge of retail leasing and Hanover Co. provides apartment management services.
