Berger Organization Expands New Jersey Portfolio
The company's latest purchase was 560 Broad St. in the heart of Newark, N.J.

Newark, N.J.—The Berger Organization has announced the purchase of 560 Broad St., a 33,000-square-foot, four-story building, from Aetna Realty. Currently vacant, the new asset will be marketed to full-building users and build out to meet the necessary requirements of its occupant.
“This is a building with great bones, right in our neck of the woods geographically,” Miles Berger, chairman & CEO of The Berger Organization, noted in a statement. “The future tenant of 560 Broad will benefit from custom-designed space and all of the advantages that this neighborhood affords in terms of accessibility, culture and quality of life.”
Located in the heart of Newark’s central business district, the office building will be connected through an extended veranda to the company’s 570 Broad St. Berger will invest in the renovation of the current black glass panels and build a private, park-like outdoor seating area, among other upgrades.
