Blackstone’s Equity Office Names SVP, Portfolio Director
Alan Walker will focus on the Northern California and Pacific Northwest markets.
San Francisco—Equity Office has announced the appointment of Alan Walker as senior vice president & portfolio director responsible for the Northern California and Pacific Northwest markets.
In this newly created role, Walker will provide strategic leadership in the region and manage approximately five million square feet of existing office properties. He will also oversee signature properties, including The Ferry Building and Market Center in San Francisco.
“Alan’s entrepreneurial approach and deep local-market expertise make him uniquely qualified to help us deliver real estate solutions that meet the changing strategic needs of companies today, and add deep value to Blackstone’s investments in the region,” said Eli Khouri, president & CEO of Equity Office, in prepared remarks.
Walker joined from Swift Real Estate Partners, where he focused on acquisition, asset management, capital markets and firm leadership. Previous to his tenure at Swift Real Estate Partners, he also worked for The John Buck Co., Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and Brown University.
Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in international trade from Brown University and also earned an MBA degree from Dartmouth College.
