Okabe will relocate its North American headquarters from Vernon Hills, Ill.
Chicago—Bridge Development Partners, a Chicago-based commercial real estate company, announced plans to build new headquarters in Grayslake, Ill., for Okabe, a leader in the metal forming industry. Okabe will relocate its North American headquarters from Vernon Hills, Ill.
Located at the intersection of Peterson Road and Midlothian Road in Grayslake, the development will include more than 20,000 square feet of two-story office and warehouse space, 10 exterior truck docks and two dive-in doors.
The 21.85-acre site was acquired by Okabe from the Lake County Fair Association. The land plot is adjacent to other notable developments in the area, including a FedEx sorting and distribution facility that opened in 2011.
