Brookfield Properties will soon break ground on Windsor 8 Logistics Center, a 325,710-square-foot Class A industrial facility in East Windsor, N.J. Completion is slated for the first quarter of 2024.

Windsor 8 Logistics Center will take shape at 399 Princeton Hightstown Road, according to CommercialEdge information. The developer acquired the 28-acre site in 2021 for $21.9 million, Mercer County records show. Designed to achieve LEED certification, the facility will feature 36-foot clear heights, vehicle and trailer parking space.

The development site is close to U.S. Route 130 and Interstate 95, a location providing easy access to New York City and Port of Newark-Elizabeth. Located some 27 miles from New Jersey, the property is near Exit 8 of the New Jersey Turnpike, in an area brimming with big-box facilities. Another project situated in Northern New Jersey, just off Exit 12 of the same turnpike, is a Crow Holdings development that will comprise 1.2 million square feet of speculative industrial space at full build-out.

Continuing the expansion of its logistics footprint, Brookfield Properties announced earlier this year its plans to develop Rockland Logistics Center, a 1.2 million-square-foot distribution campus in Suffern, N.Y. The project is expected to cost more than $315 million.
