Choice Hotels has opened the Cambria Hotel Nashville, a 235-key property in the SoBro district of Nashville, Tenn. Owner and operator Fillmore Capital Partners began construction in February 2016 financed by $18 million in development loans from U.S. Bank. Prior to the building’s construction, a Goodyear tire store operated on the parcel.

Located at 118 8th Ave. S., the 19-story hotel sits in a vibrant part of the city center, within two blocks of the Nashville Music City Center, the Bridgestone Arena and the Country Music Hall of Fame. Within half a mile of interstates 40 and 65 and served by numerous bus lines, the property is accessibly situated.

A range of guest amenities

The hotel offers guests a range of amenities including complimentary Wi-Fi, a fitness center, an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, and more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space. NashHouse, a 7,800-square-foot restaurant, is expected to open inside the building in May. Parking is available on-site for an extra charge.

“The opening of the Cambria Hotel Nashville is another significant milestone for Cambria as we rapidly expand in key markets across the country,” said Janis Cannon, senior vice president of upscale brands at Choice Hotels, in a prepared statement.

The opening comes in the middle of a hospitality development boom in the area, with a number of properties opening last year, including Rockbridge’s 224-key Noelle luxury hotel. Other developments have been slated to open later this year, such as the 533-key JW Marriott, under construction one block to the south.
