Carnegie Hall Tower Welcomes New Tenant
Naftali Group will occupy almost 8,500 square feet of space at TF Cornerstone’s Manhattan landmark property, which is home to Greystone, Lionstone and Kingdon Capital.
TF Cornerstone has signed a 10-year, 8,455-square-foot lease with Naftali Group at Carnegie Hall Tower in Midtown Manhattan. Starting with May, the real estate development and investment firm will occupy the building’s entire 45th floor. The tenant will relocate from 1700 Broadway, where it currently occupies 4,500 square feet.
The 60-story skyscraper is located at 152 W. 57th St., in the borough’s Plaza District neighborhood. Nearby landmarks include Central Park, Carnegie Hall and the Museum of Modern Art. Notable tenants include Greystone, Kingdon Capital, Asian Century Quest and Lionstone.
According to Yardi Matrix, the building was completed in 1989 and encompasses a total of 542,584 square feet as well as first-floor retail space. Amenities include concierge services, web-enabled guest registry, messenger center and on-site bike rack.
Lee & Associates Executive Managing Director & Principal Corey Abdo, Managing Director David Toran and Director Ari Waldman represented the tenant in the transaction. Newmark Knight Frank’s Matt Leon acted on behalf of the landlord. Last month, NKF arranged a 24,660-square-foot lease for Knotel in Midtown.
“Naftali Group’s rapid growth necessitated a larger office space and as major players in the business of real estate, the team looked at over 30 spaces before settling on Carnegie Hall Tower,” Abdo said in a prepared statement “Their new office allows them to stay centrally located in Midtown, in close proximity to many of their New York City projects.”
