Catering Company Coming to Tampa Office Building

Denholtz Associates inked a new retail lease with Inside the Box Café & Catering at The Times Building, a 180,630-square-foot office building in downtown Tampa, Fla. The tenant will occupy the café space on the ground floor of the property’s newly renovated lobby.

Located at 1000 N. Ashley Drive, the 10-story Times Building features a collection of amenities including a new fitness center, on-site management team, shared conference facility, ample parking and downtown shuttle service. Availabilities range up to approximately 15,627 square feet of contiguous space. Inside the Box Café & Catering is expected to open this summer, making this the restaurant’s third location in the Tampa market.

Committed tenant

Senior Director Mercedes Angell and Director Lauren Coup of Cushman & Wakefield worked on behalf of Denholtz Associates in the lease negotiations. The Tampa-based tenant has existing locations in Westshore Center and Tampa International Airport. Inside the Box is a subsidiary of Metropolitan Ministries, an independent, faith-based nonprofit organization founded in 1972 and committed to providing services to the poor and homeless in Hillsborough and Pasco counties.

Denholtz Associates recently inked a 6,054-square-foot lease with a commercial furniture dealer at The Times Building. The property sits on a 3.14-acre site in Tampa’s Cultural Arts District. The downtown location provides access to Interstate 275, the Straz Performing Arts Center and Tampa International Airport.
