CBRE Hires New SVP in Houston
An industry veteran with more than two decades of experience, Mark Witcher will represent institutional investors, owners and developers in retail investment sales throughout Texas.
CBRE has expanded its national retail investment group with the recent addition of Mark Witcher as senior vice president. Headquartered in Houston, Witcher will be responsible for representing institutional investors, owners and developers in retail investment sales in Texas. He will also assist CBRE’s brokerage team of First Vice President Matt Berry and Senior Associate Robbie Kilcrease in covering the retail middle market across the Houston-Gulf Coast area.
Having more than 20 years of industry experience, Witcher has supervised hundreds of deals totaling more than $2 billion. Most recently, he worked for Weingarten Realty Investors, where he acted as the company’s divisional vice president for acquisitions and dispositions. He also focused on sourcing the firm’s central region acquisitions and national disposition projects.
”Mark has a background as a leader in one of the nation’s foremost real estate organizations and brings an owner’s perspective to serving our clients’ requirements,” said Mark Taylor, senior managing director of CBRE, in prepared remarks. “Mark understands what clients require in this market and he provides significant expertise to deliver great outcomes.”
Earlier this month, CBRE hired Alex Cesar as vice president of advisory and transaction services. He specializes in landlord and tenant representation and will report to CBRE Senior Managing Director Arden Karson.
