CBRE Taps New SVP in Seattle

Steve Schwartz has left his managing director position at JLL to join CBRE's advisory and transaction services team, working closely with Senior Managing Director John Miller.

CBRE Group has expanded its advisory and transaction services team with the hiring of Steve Schwartz. The real estate veteran will take on a senior vice president position, specializing in tenant representation in the Puget Sound region, as a member of the organization’s occupier group. Senior Managing Director John Miller will lead Schwartz’s activity in the Seattle advisory platform.

Schwartz has more than two decades of experience in real estate advising and transactions, assisting clients in the leasing, acquisition and disposition of more than 8 million square feet of commercial properties. His representational portfolio features some of the biggest players in the Seattle region, his recent clients include BNY Mellon, Esterline, Expedia, Impinj, NBCNews.com and T-Mobile USA.

Schwartz began his career in commercial and investment banking in New York City, followed by a founding principal position at Pacific Real Estate Partners, a regional brokerage firm. Prior to joining CBRE, he was a managing director for tenant advisory services at JLL. He currently serves on the board of directors for First Sound Bank of Washington.
