CBRE|Raleigh Wins Leasing Assignment for Renaissance Center in Durham

InvenTrust Properties has selected CBRE|Raleigh to handle the leasing responsibilities for the retail and office portions of Renaissance Center in Durham.

Durham, N.C.–InvenTrust Properties has retained CBRE|Raleigh as its exclusive leasing agent for the retail and office portions of Renaissance Center, a mixed-use property located across from The Streets at Southpoint in Durham.

Earlier this month, the Oak Brook, Ill.-based company acquired the 363,176-square-foot retail and office asset for $129.2 million. At the time of sale, the property was 96 percent occupied.

Located at 7001 Fayetteville Road, Renaissance Center offers high exposure at the intersection of I-40 and Fayetteville Road. A mix of national and local companies are among the property’s tenants, including Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy, Cost Plus World Market, REI, Babies “R” Us and Best Buy.

The firm’s Retail Services team comprising Charlie Coyne, senior vice president, as well as Matt Larson, vice president and Tiffany Barrier, senior associate, will be leading the leasing efforts for the retail component of the center. Meanwhile, the leasing efforts for the office portion of the project will be led by Brian Carr, senior vice president with CBRE|Raleigh’s Agency Services team.

CBRE|Raleigh is a joint venture between local principals and CBRE Group. The firm, which serves the Triangle region, completed $1.3 billion of sales and leasing transactions in 2015.
