Jones Lang LaSalle has arranged a new 15-year direct lease for CBS Broadcasting with law firm Dorsey & Whitney L.L.P. at 51 W. 52nd Street, also known as Black Rock. CBS took 70,476 square feet of space at the Class A, 908,000-square-foot trophy office building.
According to JLL international director Frank Doyle, Dorsey & Whitney was drawn by the property’s column-free floor plate, which offers flexibility for office layout. All of CBS Broadcasting’s space at the property is now leased.
Black Rock’s owner was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle New York president Peter Riguardi along with Doyle, executive vice president Barbara Winter and vice president Andrew Flint. The tenant was represented by Cushman & Wakefield vice chairman John Cefaly, executive vice president Gus Field and executive director Donald Preate.
