Charlotte Gets New Dual-Branded Hotel
Two Courtyard and Residence Inn properties combined and are now open for business just minutes from Northlake Mall and Lake Norman
A dual-branded Courtyard and Residence Inn hotel has opened in Charlotte, N.C., under Midas Hospitality’s management. The seven-story property is located at 9110 Harris Corners Parkway. The concept is similar to another dual-branded hotel which Marriott opened last year in Phoenix.
“Attracting both business and leisure travelers, the Charlotte area is an ideal location for this dual opening. Each brand offers distinct amenities and services that tailor to all visitors,” said Janis Milham, senior vice president of Classic Select Brands for Marriott International, in a prepared statement.
The Charlotte hotel, owned by MJM Group, offers a total of 188 keys, a heated outdoor swimming pool, two patios, a fitness center and approximately 1,400 square feet of meeting space.
Modern design
The Courtyard Charlotte Northlake encompasses 94 keys, each of them featuring a modern design with hybrid zones for working, sleeping and relaxing. It provides visitors with electrical outlets, media pods and free Wi-Fi, as well as a business library with several computer terminals.
The other hotel, The Residence Inn, offers studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour onsite food and beverage market, dry cleaning services and onsite guest laundry room.
The property is close to Interstate 77 and within minutes from Northlake Mall and Lake Norman. Visitors have access to a variety of nearby attractions such as Bank of America Stadium, the Spectrum Center, UNC Charlotte and the Billy Graham Library.
