Stamford, Conn.—Colliers International closed the sale of 750 E. Main St., a 103,367-square-foot, Class A office property located in Stamford’s CBD. Darien-based Forstone Capital purchased the asset in an off-market transaction for $8.1 million, according to Property Shark data. Colliers’ Al Gutierrez, executive managing director, Enzennio Mallozzi, Stamford-based managing director, as well as Cynthia Foster, New York-based office services president, represented the seller and procured the buyer.
“This transaction required a buyer who knows the market well and understands that this is a quality asset at a value-driven price,” said Gutierrez in an official statement, “We had to move quickly in order for the exit strategy to be beneficial for the seller and were able to find the right buyer and complete the deal within a 40-day window.”
Built in 1986, the building is situated in a prime location offering a view of the Long Island Sound estuary. The 10-story property features six floors of office space and four levels of structured parking, with a flexible floorplate suited to small and large tenants in numerous industries such as financial services, technology and sales. Amenities include food services, a fitness center, a conference facility, a dedicated train shuttle and on-site security.
Additionally, the asset is highly visible from Interstate 95, providing signage opportunities for larger companies. Moreover, tenants have easy access to many retail, restaurant and service amenities, as well as the Stamford Transportation Center.
