Colliers Welcomes Shawn Janus as National Healthcare Director
Janus, who joins the company from Caddis Real Estate, brings more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, 20 of which have been spent in healthcare.

Colliers International has hired industry veteran Shawn Janus as national healthcare director. Janus, who has more than 30 years of real estate experience, 20 of which have been in healthcare, will oversee the growth of Colliers’ healthcare sector from the company’s Chicago office. The focus of his efforts will be on cultivating a value-driven platform for delivering innovative solutions to the firm’s healthcare real estate clients.
Janus joined Colliers from Caddis Healthcare Real Estate, where he worked as managing director. Prior to that, he held a Senior Vice President position with Pacific Medical Building, where he was responsible for expanding the firm’s healthcare development practice at the national level. Half of his career was built working for JLL and Lillibridge Healthcare Services. While at Lillibridge as an executive vice president, Janus closed transactions valued at more than $1.5 billion.
Janus is a certified public accountant and a real estate broker licensed in Illinois. He holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and a master’s in marketing and finance from Northwestern University.
