CRC Assigns Real Estate Manager
In this newly created position, Joe Schaefer will work with the commercial, multifamily and construction divisions of the company.
Continental Realty Corp. has hired Joe Schaefer in the newly created position of real estate manager. He will work with the company’s commercial, multifamily and construction teams on specific projects. In his new role, Schaefer will undertake tasks including research on property-level capital projects, reporting and benchmarking operations against industry peers and creating financial models.
Schaefer comes from Landmark Realty, where he served as director of operations. His track record also includes positions with Community Realty Co., Congressional Commercial LLC, Borger Management Inc. and Crothall Services Group. He holds a masters of professional studies in real estate from Georgetown University and a bachelor of arts degree from Allegheny College. He also holds a Maryland and Washington, D.C., commercial real estate license and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
“Joe is a highly organized and seasoned professional with a talent for creative problem-solving and represents the ideal candidate to assume this multi-faceted position,” said David Donato, senior vice president of Continental Realty Corp., in prepared remarks.
Last year, Continental Realty Corp. hired JD Brakefield, formerly of The Rappaport Cos., as CRC’s director of commercial property management.
