Crestline Tapped to Manage Hyatt Hotels in Phoenix
The dual-branded hospitality property on the Arizona State University campus comprises a total of 259 keys.
Crestline Hotels & Resorts has begun managing operations at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House, a newly built, dual-branded hotel property on the Arizona State University campus in Tempe, Ariz. The property is the first dual-branded Hyatt hotel in the local market and the first hospitality offering in the ASU Athletic District.
Located at 601 E. 6th St., the Hyatt Place comprises 154 keys, while the conjoined Hyatt House consists of 105 keys. Shared amenities include 4,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space, guest kitchen, lobby bar, and multiple patios. Rooftop amenities include a swimming pool and bar.
The property is within the 355-acre Novus Innovation Corridor on ASU’s campus, which is slated to include 3.9 million square feet of office space, roughly 4,000 homes and 300,000 square feet of retail space. Created by the Arizona legislature to generate funding for ASU athletic facilities, the corridor started construction in 2010.
Mortenson Construction developed the asset, which is located 7 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Apple Hospitality acquired the property for $64.6 million last month.
