Related Cos. has chosen Cushman & Wakefield to lease 444 Brickell, a 201,000-square-foot office building in Miami’s CBD. The 11-story property was built in 1972 and links the Brickell and Downtown submarkets.

A Cushman & Wakefield team of Vice Chairman Brian Gale, Managing Directors Andrew Trench and Ryan Holtzman, Director Jeannette Mendoza and Associate Lena Weeks will handle leasing at the property.

Situated at 444 Brickell Ave., along the Miami River, the office building offers views of Biscayne Bay. The lobby and common areas were recently updated and amenities include a Capital Grille restaurant on the ground floor, a sundry shop and on-site management. Tenants also have access to a dock with boat slips.

“Brickell is currently the hottest office submarket in Miami Dade County, and 444 Brickell presents a unique value proposition to tenants in the market,” said Gale, in prepared remarks.

The property’s central location provides tenants with easy access to hotels, entertainment, dining and a variety of residential options, all within walking distance. The building is also close to transit, with a Metromover Station just one block away.

Located nearby the property is One Biscayne Tower, a Class A, 691,000-square-foot office building, which will undergo a $10 million renovation.
