Keating Resources has selected Cushman & Wakefield to oversee leasing at the firm’s Westshore Logistics Center in Tampa, Fla. John Jackson, Julia Rettig and Jessica Mizrahi are leading the team that is marketing the property. The four-building development, which encompasses 166,680 square feet of Class A industrial space, was extensively renovated following Keating’s acquisition of the asset last year.
Located at 5400 Southern Comfort Blvd., the property sits just north of Tampa International Airport’s western runway, in a primarily industrial district. At the time of the owner’s purchase, the asset, constructed in 1972, had been vacant for several years. Now, XPO Logistics occupies 21,900 square feet, and the remaining space is available for immediate occupancy. Keating replaced the roofing and insulation of each building, also adding new loading doors, an upgraded fire suppression system, LED lighting and a security gate.
“Large blocks of industrial space are in high demand, and Westshore Logistics Center offers the largest block of available Class A space in the Airport market, which makes it very competitive,” said Jackson, director of Cushman & Wakefield, in a prepared statement.
