Dalfen America Corp. has acquired Eastpoint Distribution Center, a 419,626-square-foot warehouse/distribution facility, as well as an adjacent 12.2-acre lot in Dallas. At the time of sale, the property was fully occupied by Shippers Warehouse Inc.
Attractive Location
Located at 8901 Forney Road, directly adjacent to the UP Intermodal Hub in East Dallas, the facility offers convenient access to E. R.L. Thornton Freeway and U.S. Highway 80. The cross-dock facility features 28-foot clear heights, food-grade certification, active dual rail service, as well as 140,000 square feet of climate-controlled space. The adjacent secure site can accommodate more than 300 trailer positions or be used for exterior material storage. The new owners are set to improve the truck court depth, pave and fence the entire site and add new access points off of Big Town Boulevard and Forney Road.
“We plan to significantly increase the size of our portfolio in the DFW area and continue our acquisitions in other key metro markets throughout the country,” Sean Dalfen, president of Dalfen America Corp., said in a prepared statement.
In another recent Dallas deal, JPA Capital LLC acquired a 70,000-square-foot industrial flex facility in Euless, Texas.
