Lincoln Harris has secured Deloitte as the anchor tenant for its new, 18-story office tower in Charlotte, N.C., slated for delivery in late 2020. The global firm will occupy the top four floors of 650 South Tryon, taking up approximately 90,000 square feet.

Located at 650 S. Tryon St., the property will encompass a total of 362,000 square feet, including ground-floor retail, and is part of the mixed-use development Legacy Union in the Uptown submarket of Charlotte. Lincoln Harris is developing the project in a partnership with Goldman Sachs. The location provides easy access to interstates 277 and 77 and the Bank of America Stadium.

“With the launch of the second phase of Legacy Union, we have made significant progress toward our vision for Legacy Union as a major destination that will redefine Uptown and serve as a gateway to Charlotte’s center city,” said Johno Harris, president of Lincoln Harris, in prepared remarks.

Once completed, Legacy Union will offer a mix of Class A office, retail, residential and hospitality space as well as a large pedestrian plaza and green space. Ridr Knowlton and Campbell Walker of Lincoln Harris worked on behalf of the developer in the lease negotiations. Roughly 270,000 square feet of space is still available at 650 South Tryon.
