DivcoWest completed the acquisition of DiamondView East Village. The 15-story, 325,000-square-foot Class A office building is situated near Petco Park in the East Village submarket of downtown San Diego.
The property, located at 350 10th Ave., was constructed in 2007 and is one of the top office buildings in downtown San Diego. In addition to its retail tenants, the asset houses a 37,000-square-foot Fit Athletic Club and a 4,900-square-foot events space on the top floor, overlooking the ballpark.
Ideal location
DiamondView East Village is within nine city blocks of more than 2,900 Class A apartments and almost 7,000 units under construction or in the planning stages. The property is close to Westfield Horton Plaza, a newly rejuvenated urban retail center with more than 60 stores. Restaurants and cafes are also within walking distance. The office building is near several stops on the city’s Metropolitan Transit System, four miles from San Diego International Airport and only a mile from Interstate 5.
This is DivcoWest’s second purchase in downtown San Diego. Earlier this month, the company completed the acquisition of a mid-rise office building at 1420 Kettner Blvd.
