Downtown Denver has recently welcomed another glassy addition, with the opening of the dual-branded, 361-key Hyatt Place Denver/Downtown and Hyatt House Denver/Downtown hotel.

Designed by Simeone Deary Design Group in collaboration with Forse Art Consulting, the hotel’s design is inspired by its surroundings, and incorporates recycled beetle kill wood accents, handcrafted local artwork, and Colorado craft beers on tap. The shared lobby also features art installations by local artists such as Sabin Aell.

The 248-key Hyatt Place Denver/Downtown offers guests a wide range of amenities, including free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, a 24/7 Gallery Menu & Market, a 24-hour gym, and more than 4,800 square feet of flexible meeting space.

Hyatt House Denver/Downtown offers 113 apartment-style suites, free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour fitness facility, 24/7 Guest Market, and more than 4,800 square feet of meeting and event space.

The dual-branded hotel is conveniently located nearby the Colorado Convention Center, Denver Pavilion, the Denver Center for Performing Arts, and the Denver Art Museum. Chad Cuddy serves as general manager for the hotel, with Annabeth Black acting as director of sales.

“We continue to see a growing trend with dual-brand hotels, which let guests choose the right setting for their needs,” Dave Montrose, senior regional vice president with White Lodging Services Corp., said in a statement. “Whether out guests are in town for vacation, work relocation or long-term corporate project, Hyatt Place Denver/Downtown and Hyatt House Denver/Downtown are the perfect fit for the vibrant setting of downtown Denver.”
