Duke Realty Corp. has signed a lease with Acer Service Corp., a repair and service provider for Acer computer products, at Lockport 16508 in Lockport, Ill. The company is set to occupy 166,024 square feet, leasing approximately 55 percent of the total building.
Located at 16508 S. John Lane Crossing, the property comprises 300,494 square feet. Asset features include 32-foot clear heights, 48 exterior docks, two drive-in doors, 57 trailer parking spaces, 269 car spaces, a seven-inch non-reinforced floor, 54-foot by 50-foot column spacing, insulated ceilings, a mezzanine level, a ESFR sprinkler system and 3,000 amp, 480-volt power. Duke Realty purchased the building as part of a three-property portfolio from Panattoni Development. The other two properties, the 173,640-square-foot Lockport 16328 and the 228,690-square-foot Lockport 16410, are both 100 percent leased.
“We are pleased to welcome our new tenant Acer Services to Lockport 16508,” said Susan Bergdoll, vice president of Leasing and Development for Duke Realty’s Chicago properties, in prepared remarks. “Our Lockport properties are well-suited for Acer Services and other companies that need convenient connections to the Chicago metro area.”
Jim Herbst of Interstate Tenant Advisors represented Acer Services, while Sean Henrick of Cushman & Wakefield represented Duke Realty in the deal. Earlier this month, Duke Realty signed e-commerce retailer Velky Brands to a 75,232-square-foot lease at another industrial facility in Chicago‘s submarket of Romeoville, Ill.
