E.ON Energy Selected to Manage Four Of Novatus’ Wind Farms

Chicago—E.ON Energy Services has been selected to manage four of Novatus Energy’s wind farms located across three states. E.ON will provide complete asset management, site supervision and balance of plant management for two of wind farms in Texas, one in Maine and one in Washington State for the next five years.

The facilities include the South Plains II and Route 66 projects in Texas, the Palouse project in Washington State and the Oakfield project in Maine, totaling 700 megawatts under three different balancing authorities.

The agreement between Novatus Energy and E.ON marks E.ON’s presence in seven states in in nearly every major ISO. The investor-owned energy supplier is one of the world’s largest generators of renewable energy, and has invested more than $12 billion globally in wind and solar projects during the last decade.
