EDENS Names New Vice President in Miami
Nicole Shiman’s extensive background in acquisitions and development recommended her for the new job.
Miami—EDENS, one of the leading private owners, operators and developers of retail real estate in the U.S., has announced the appointment of Nicole Shiman as vice president for the company’s investment team. She will be in charge of the company’s regional headquarters located in Miami, being responsible for the company’s Florida portfolio.
“With her extensive experience in acquisitions and development, as well as portfolio strategy, Nicole is exactly the right person to lead our team. South Florida is an exciting and evolving retail real estate market. We are proud of our centers in this region and the important role they play in the lives of our communities,” EDENS’ CEO Jodie McLean said in prepared remarks
Prior to joining EDENS, Shiman served as vice president for Miami-based real estate private equity group 13th Floor Investments. Shiman also worked for The Boston Consulting Group in their Toronto, New York and Miami offices. She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and also holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
