Emerson has acquired Oak Park Office Center III, a vacant office building in Houston’s Westchase office submarket. JLL Capital Markets arranged the sale on behalf of the seller, Mallick Group.
Located at 6001 Rogerdale Road, the two-story building was constructed in 2008 and comprises 151,000 square feet. Features include a cafe and break rooms for tenant use, ample parking and convenient access to Beltway 8 and Westpark Tollway. The building has served as a single-tenant corporate campus since it was completed.
Managing Director Rudy Hubbard, Senior Vice President Kevin McConn and Vice President Rick Goings led the JLL team on the sale. Curt Stanton of Axiom represented Emerson in the transaction. Last week, the JLL team represented The D’Agostino Cos. in its sale of a 114,400-square-foot office property in Houston.
“This offering presented the perfect opportunity for the buyer to gain control of the property next door and accommodate growth in their business,” Hubbard said in a prepared statement.
