FCP Relocates MD HQ
The company will occupy 13,914 square feet in JBG Smith’s Chase Tower in Chevy Chase, Md., alongside Berkadia, Alliance Partners and Spaces.
JBG Smith has completed a 13,914-square-foot headquarters lease with FCP at Chase Tower in Chevy Chase, Md. The tenant will relocate more than 40 employees from 5425 Wisconsin Ave. as it doubled its size in the past seven years.
According to Yardi Matrix, the property encompasses 248,713 square feet across 12 stories, including a 30,256-square-foot retail component. Built in 2001, the LEED Silver asset features two on-site restaurants, a Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners-designed staircase, 14 conference rooms, as well as 382 parking spaces. Notable tenants include Berkadia, Alliance Partners, SunTrust Bank and Spaces.
Located at 4445 Willard Ave., Chase Tower is one block away from the Friendship Heights metro station and several bus lines. Nearby amenities include retailers, restaurants, cafes and parks.
So far, it’s been an active year for the building’s landlord. Last month, a JBG Smith joint venture sold a trophy office building in Washington, D.C., for $385 million.
“FCP’s continued growth—in portfolio size, market strength and employees—required not only a larger space but one that better accommodated the way our team works, with more conference, collaborative and individual- focused space,” FCP Vice President for Commercial Asset Management Sarah Jane Hubbard said in a prepared statement.
