First Tru By Hilton Opens in Oklahoma City

This marks the chain's 5,000th property, which was brought to market in 16 months from when it launched. The hotel is owned by Champ Patel at Champion Hotels.

Hilton opened its first Tru by Hilton at Oklahoma City Airport, the company’s 5,000th hotel. Tru by Hilton is a brand-new hotel that was brought to market in 16 months from when it launched. 

The 86-key Tru by Hilton Oklahoma City Airport includes 2,880 square feet of public space with areas to work, play and lounge, a market located in the lobby, a fitness center, a complimentary breakfast bar, and tech features such as Wi-Fi, mobile check-in, digital key entry and lobby and market iPads for guest use. The hotel is located near Will Rogers World Airport and is owned by Champ Patel at Champion Hotels. 

“We believe in the potential of this transformative brand, and are very excited to bring 15 other Tru by Hilton properties to life in cities across the country,” said Champ Patel, CEO of Champion Hotels, in prepared remarks. 

The opening of the first Tru by Hilton and Hilton’s 5,000th property come on the heels of several other major milestones, including the opening of the 100th properties in both Greater China and Latin America.
