Las Vegas—W Hotels Worldwide, part of Marriott International, has announced the first hotel in Las Vegas. The company transformed a 289-key tower of SLS Las Vegas, a portfolio resort of roughly 1,600 suites, located at the north end of the Vegas Strip.
“After nearly two decades of anticipation, W Las Vegas will show guests a different side of the strip, offering an unexpected and irreverent twist on the typical Sin City experience,” Anthony Ingham, global brand leader with W Hotels Worldwide, said in prepared remarks.
The property was developed by PENTA Building Group and designed by Gensler in collaboration with AvroKO Hospitality Group. The three-story building offers state-of-the-art meeting and event space. In addition, the hotel adjacent to SLS Las Vegas features an extra 80,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. The property features a 24-hour fitness center, pool with spa, seven on-site restaurants, three on-site entertainment venues and easy access to several transportation options.
