Flintco Selected as General Contractor for ServiceMaster’s New HQ

Memphis, Tenn.—ServiceMaster Global Holdings Inc. announced it has selected Flintco LLC as the general contractor for the upcoming $35 million renovation and construction of its new global headquarters in downtown Memphis.

“We’re pleased to be working with Flintco,” Terry Ingram, vice president of supply management for ServiceMaster, said in prepared remarks. “We completed a very detailed bidding process, and Flintco demonstrated an exceptional record of success, true dedication to safety and an unwavering commitment to supplier and subcontractor diversity.”

ServiceMaster is set to occupy the former Peabody Place mall adjacent to the historic Peabody Hotel. Some 1,200 employees and contractors are expected to move in at the end of 2017. The company’s new headquarters joins the wave of projects that are revitalizing the city’s core.

Flintco’s responsibilities will include general contracting and construction services such as estimating, procurement of subcontractors and diversity efforts, safety management and project management, management of daily activities for the build-out of the headquarters. The firm will select and manage the various subcontractors as part of the build-out of ServiceMaster’s new headquarters.

The asset is part of Belz Enterprises’ property portfolio. The company is currently managing exterior renovations and interior updates in order to repurpose the four-level, 328,000-square-foot structure into Class A office space using multiple LEED standards.
