Marriott International Inc. recently announced the opening of Four Points Miami Airport Hotel, the brand’s second location in Miami.
The 124-key hotel owned by Economos Properties offers 1,000 square feet of meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center and a business center. The building is located 3 miles away from the corporate offices of BV Oil Company, Harris Corporation, Magaya Corporation, Parker-Hannifin Corporation, and Refricenter International. Additionally, the property is within walking distance from the Wynwood Art District and Miami Beach.
“Airport properties are at the crux of Four Points’ business model. We’re excited to open a second property in the area, especially at such a bustling terminal where business travelers will find a reliable night’s stay,” Callette Nielsen, vice president & global brand manager of Courtyard, Fairfield, Four Points, and SpringHill Suites, said in prepared remarks.
Four Points is expected to expand its portfolio by approximately 50 percent by the end of 2019 with new hotels strategically located in different corners of the globe. There are more than 20 hotels slated to come online in North America by the end of this year.
