Calistoga, Calif.—Napa Valley continues to be a hospitality magnet as the development of a brand new resort was recently announced by a team consisting of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Alcion Ventures and Bald Mountain Development. The luxury resort will take shape in Calistoga, a city that offers proximity to the vineyards of northern Napa Valley.
With opening scheduled for 2018, the 85-key resort will also offer 20 Private Residence villas. Additionally, the project includes a fully operational winery and hand-farmed vineyard managed by acclaimed winemaker Thomas Brown. On-site produced wines will be part of a collection accessible to all resort guests.
The 20 one- and two-story residences will be managed by Four Seasons and will offer their own wine cellars, indoor and outdoor dining, as well as entertainment spaces. Luxury amenities from the neighboring resort such as pool access, fitness center, spa, and event barn will also be made available to the owners of the residences.
According to Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts President & CEO J. Allen Smith, “this is a unique opportunity to combine a privately-owned and operated winery and vineyard with a world-class luxury resort.” This is Alcion’s third project with Bald Mountain Development, with this opportunity being in the works for nearly a decade.
