G Furniture Inc. relocated its Chicago distribution center to 5420 Roosevelt Road. The decision was taken in order for the company to have better access to the city and Interstate-290.
NAI Hiffman, which specializes in Chicago leases, tapped Executive Vice President Joe Bronson and Associate Alex Sutterer to close on the agreement for the 35,550-square-foot space on behalf of G Furniture.
A dynamic business area
Sun Gate Park, the new home for Beverly Furniture’s fifth distribution center nationwide, is a two-story property completed in 1942 in the Lawndale district of Chicago, according to Yardi Matrix data. The building offers approximately 1.3 million square feet of space and counts Glen Ellyn Storage Corp., Universal Mailing & Printing, Universal Auto Body Supply and RT Beverage among its tenants.
The property offers convenient access to Interstate 290 via South Laramie Avenue and to downtown Chicago, which is less than 10 miles away. The Chicago O’Hare International Airport is less than 20 miles from the site.
