Geosyntec Relocates to 550-Acre New Jersey Campus

Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the leasing of roughly 9.000 square feet of office space at a Class A campus in Hopewell, N.J. Environmental consulting and engineering firm Geosyntec Consultants will relocate its regional office from Ewing, N.J., to Princeton Place at Hopewell, a three-building, 1.8 million-square-foot campus. Newmark Knight Frank worked on behalf of the tenant, while the owner of the building, Lindy Communities, was represented by Cushman & Wakefield.

Located at 1700, 1750 and 1800 American Blvd., the campus is close to interstates 95 and 295 and serves as home to a series of tenants such as Janssen Research, Cenlar FSB, Horizon Blue Cross and Bank of America.

The 550-acre campus includes a 1.5-mile jogging route, two ball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts and a fitness center. Kevin Carton of Cushman & Wakefield indicated that tenants are starting to seek ways of compressing their footprints in order to gain efficiency, but are also focused on offering employees an environment which provides a work-life balance.

Alongside Carton, Cushman & Wakefield’s team included Todd Elfand, Paul Giannone and Joe Vacca. Recently, another of the firm’s teams arranged a 233,000-square-foot full-building industrial lease in Cranbury, N.J., about 20 miles east of Princeton Place.
