GO Industrial, in partnership with a real estate fund advised by Crow Holdings Capital, has sold 5600 Logistics, a 505,692-square-foot logistics campus in Salt Lake City. CBRE brokered the deal.

Layton Construction’s National Building Group recently completed the two-building industrial campus, which was designed by architecture firm AE Urbia.

The campus consists of two buildings. Building A is located on a 15-acre site and is 265,120 square feet, with 32-foot clear heights. The facility includes 50 dock-high doors and four grade-level doors, 177 employee parking spaces and 72 trailer parking spaces. Building B sits on 13.3 acres and encompasses 240,654 square feet, with 32-foot clear heights. The property features 46 dock-high doors, four grade-level doors, 159 employee parking spots and 62 trailer spaces.

Located at 1456 and 1568 S. 5500, the properties have access to interstates 15 and 80 and Highway 201. Salt Lake City International Airport is just 8 miles away. Other industrial properties in the surrounding area are occupied by Union Pacific Intermodal hub, Costco Distribution Center and RC Willey Intermountain Distribution Center, among others.

First Vice Presidents Chris Liddell and Matt McAfee, along with Senior Vice President Tom Dishman of CBRE, represented the seller in the transaction.

In March, ViaWest Group acquired an 18-acre site that already contains a 37,000-square-foot building, close to Salt Lake City International Airport. The company is planning an additional, 171,600-square-foot speculative building on the site.
