Goodwin Procter will move to a new location in late 2019. The firm signed an 80,329-square-foot lease at a JBG Cos. trophy development in D.C.’s Dupont Circle and Farragut area. JBG, which has recently celebrated the ground breaking on another office building on Bethesda Avenue, will work with Goodwin to ensure the latter’s relocation to the top three floors of its upcoming 11-story development.
World-class office environment
Located at 1900 N St. NW, two blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro Station and four blocks from the Farragut West Metro station, the office tower will offer 271,433 square feet of rentable space in a very dynamic area of D.C.’s CBD. The building features an iconic structural beam skeleton and a translucent and modern design.
“Goodwin’s decision to relocate to 1900 N Street (from 901 New York Ave.) further validates our strategic location and best-in-class design, specifically addressing the needs of forward looking, industry leading professional services organizations,” said David Ritchey, JBG’s executive vice president & head of leasing, in prepared remarks.
The broker team representing Goodwin was made up of two executive vice presidents with Savills Studley: David Lipson and Gary Stein.
