Harrison Street Sheds VA Medical Office Portfolio
With help from Avison Young, a joint venture between MBRE Healthcare and Kayne Anderson Venture acquired the three-building Ashburn Farm Professional Plaza in Loudoun County.

Ashburn Farm Professional Plaza
Harrison Street Real Estate Capital LLC has disposed of Ashburn Farm Professional Plaza, a 75,191-square-foot, Class A medical office park in Ashburn, Va. The buyer, a joint venture between MBRE Healthcare and Kayne Anderson Venture, previously acquired a massive portfolio spanning across 11 states.
The campus comprises three buildings completed between 1999 and 2002. Each asset features 25,000 square feet across three stories. Ashburn Farm Professional Plaza sits centrally located within the 1,200-acre mixed-use Ashburn Park community, on 2 acres at 20905-20955 Professional Plaza. Nearby amenities include a shopping center, eateries and parks, while Inova Loudoun Hospital and StoneSprings Hospital Center are 3 and 10 miles away, respectively. Dulles Greenway Toll Road and two nearby bus stations provide easy access throughout the area.
Avison Young Principals Jim Kornick, Mike Wilson, Chip Ryan, Erik Foster and John Kevill, together with Executive Vice President Mark Johnson brokered the sale.
“The tenants include family practices, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, radiology specialists, orthopedists, dentists and a daycare center. It’s perfectly suited for the community,” Kornick said in a prepared statement.
