Heavlin Management Expands Phoenix Portfolio
With the addition of the 259-key Hilton Phoenix Airport Hotel, the company now manages more than 51 percent of all guestrooms in the Phoenix Airport submarket.

Phoenix—Heavlin Management Co. LLC (HMC), a full-service hospitality management and consulting company, has received the management assignment for 259-key Hilton Phoenix Airport Hotel in Phoenix. With this addition, HMC now manages more than 51 percent of all full-service hotel rooms in the Phoenix Airport submarket.
Located at 2435 S. 47th St., the hotel features more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space, including an amphitheater, full-service restaurant with room service, an outdoor pool and meeting area. In order to maintain its status as a leading hotel in the South Airport market, the building underwent an extensive $8 million revamp in 2015. HMC is planning to invest an additional $750,000 in improvements such as the addition of modern conveniences and upgrades to the restaurant, bar and other common areas, as well as parking lot enhancements.
The addition of Hilton Phoenix Airport Hotel brings the company’s portfolio to seven properties, 550 employees and 1,208 guestrooms in Arizona and Alaska. HMC has appointed Sally Shaffer as general manager of the new location and Lynn Flosi as director of Sales & Marketing.
