Victorville, Calif.—A new industrial facility has been recently added to the Southern California Logistics Centre in Victorville. Stirling Capital Investments announced the completion of Building 13B at the 2,500-acre commercial and industrial master-planned complex.
Located at the southeast corner of Phantom West and George Boulevard in Victorville, the industrial facility offers 447,740 square feet of space. Building 13B occupies a 19.4-acre plot of land at the Southern California Logistics Centre, a complex entitled for a total of about 60 million square feet of development. The facility features 53 dock high doors and a 32’ clear height.
The building was fully leased ahead of completion, with Arden Cos. taking up 211,000 square feet of space at the facility. The remaining space was leased by Newell Brands, a consumer goods company that leased the space to expand its existing 584,412-square-foot presence at SCLC.
According to the press statement announcing the completion, Stirling Capital delivered Building 13B 30 days ahead of schedule. The facility will create 125 new manufacturing jobs in the Victor Valley, as the industrial sector continues to strengthen in the High Desert. “We’ve seen a growing interest in manufacturing and industrial space in the High Desert. This region has a strong, skilled workforce to support more manufacturing relocation and expansion,” Stirling Development COO Brian Parno said in prepared remarks.
