Hilton City Center Opens in Mile-High City
The 316-key property was renamed after a $27 million renovation. Previously known as Marriott Denver City, the 20-story building is the metro's third-largest hotel.

Following a $27 million renovation, the former Marriott Denver City has opened as the Hilton Denver City Center. The 613-key hotel feature newly renovated public spaces, guest rooms and dining venues. Chesapeake Lodging Trust owns and manages the asset.
The 20-story property is metro Denver’s third-largest hotel. Located at 1701 California St., in the heart of Denver, less than one mile from Union Station. The property is also close to main downtown attractions such as Colorado Convention Center, 16th Street Mall, Pepsi Center, Sports Authority Field and Denver Art Museum. The Denver International Airport is 24 miles from the hotel.
The list of amenities includes:
- 24-hour fitness center
- heated swimming pool
- business center
- restaurant and bar
- Starbucks
- 24-hour room service
Additionally, the property offers 32,000 square feet of meeting space with different event rooms for up to 2,500 guests. The largest meeting room is 10,948 square feet. Hilton’s latest development in Denver was a 320-key hotel in the Denver Tech area.
