Hilton Garden Inn Changes Hands in Maine
Dover Properties LLC sold Hilton Garden Inn Freeport Downtown, a 99-key asset dating back to 2005, located within a 20-minute drive of Portland.
AAM 15 Management LLC has purchased the 99-key Hilton Garden Inn Freeport Downtown from Dover Properties LLC in a deal facilitated by HFF. According to public records, the former owner purchased the property in 2004 for $2.2 million.
The three-story hospitality asset is located at 5 Park St. in Freeport, Maine, adjacent to the Memorial Park site. Its proximity to State Road 1 and Interstate 295 offers easy access to downtown Portland, which is less than a 20-minute drive away. The hotel is situated next to the Freeport Shopping Village, a large-scale retail, entertainment and dining center.
Upscale amenities
The property includes the Hilton Garden Inn, built in 2005, along with an older, light-industrial, wood-frame structure dating back to 1900. The select-service asset features:
