HMC Promotes Libby Shaw to HR VP

Dallas—Hospitality Management Corp. (HMC) has promoted Libby Shaw from corporate director and HR assistant director to HR vice president. Previously, she served as a hotel general manager with HMC.

In her new role, she will oversee recruitment and staffing, benefits administration, workers’ compensation and ongoing development and training. She will also handle all personnel issues associated with managed property transitions and new hotel openings.

Shaw brings more than 10 years of diverse experience in the hospitality industry and holds a degree in hotel, travel and tourism.

“Libby will continue to lead the direction of our Human Resources strategy, focused on fulfilling HMC’s mission to be an outstanding employer, provider and partner of hotel properties throughout the industry. She will direct initiatives enhancing employee experiences, strengthen performance management and improve recruitment and retention,” Bill Sullivan, HMC executive vice president & CFO, said in prepared remarks.
