Homewood Suites by Hilton expands in Jacksonville with a new 117-room hotel.

Jacksonville– Homewood Suites by Hilton, part of Hilton Worldwide, recently announced its newest property, Homewood Suites by Hilton Jacksonville Deerwood Park. The new addition continues the expansion of the brand, which is nearing its 400th worldwide opening.
The new hotel offers 117 rooms—in a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom accommodations—featuring fully-equipped kitchens, as well as separate living and sleeping areas. Other amenities include an on-site fitness center, outdoor pool and two grill-equipped patio areas along with 700 square feet of meeting space.
Developed and managed by The Generation Companies, a multi-year recipient of Hilton’s Deal of the Year Award, Homewood Suites Jacksonville Deerwood Park complements the area’s expanding business centers along with its numerous shopping and restaurant options including those at the nearby St. John’s Town Center.
“With companies like JP Morgan Chase, Florida Blue and Allstate all having regional headquarters here and others including Merrill Lynch and Bank of America having a major presence, Jacksonville attracts a substantial number of business travelers,” said in prepared remarks Maureen Meier, general manager. “Many of these companies are located nearby in the Southside/Deerwood Park area which is why we are so excited to offer an outstanding upscale hotel to meet their needs as well as those of the leisure traveler.”
Located at 8511 Touchton Road, Homewood Suites Jacksonville Deerwood Park offers guests easy access to local shopping and dining at the Avenues Mall and St. Johns Town Center while Jacksonville Beach and JAX Airport are a 30 minute drive distance from the hotel.
