Huckabee, an educational architectural and engineering firm, signed a new lease for 10,000 square feet in Plano, Texas. The company will relocate its regional office to Granite Park Five. JLL Managing Directors Steve Thelen and Pat McDowell negotiated the lease on behalf of Huckabee, while Robert Jimenez and Avery Bush represented Granite Properties.
The 360,200-square-foot, 12-story office building is located at 5830 Granite Parkway. The Class A property offers more than 1,100 parking spaces.
“Increased development and growth in Far North Dallas makes it one of the Dallas’ most vibrant submarkets,” Steve Thelen, managing director at JLL, said in prepared remarks. “The area provides an abundance of amenities and easy accessibility for those commuting.”
Huckabee’s decision to relocate its regional office comes a few months after JC Penney sold Home Office, a 1.8 million-square-foot office campus in Plano that served as the company’s headquarters.
