Humanetics Lands Michigan Facility

The leading supplier of crash test dummies has bought a 78,065-square-foot property in Farmington Hills, Mich., from an owner of commercial and multifamily properties.

Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions closed the sale of a 78,065-square foot industrial building to Humanetics Innovative Solutions Inc. The seller, 23300 Haggerty Associates, was represented in the transaction by Phil Konopitski, SVP of Brokerage Services at Friedman.

The property is located at 23300 Haggerty Road in Farmington Hills, Mich. Humanetics, the leading developer and supplier of sophisticated anthropomorphic crash test dummy devices, is headquartered in Plymouth, Mich. The property houses a technical center and an instrumentation manufacturing facility. The company also has a production unit in Huron, Ohio.

Friedman manages more than 140 commercial properties–which total 16 million square feet–and upwards of 10,000 apartment homes throughout the United States.
